MY BACKGROUND
At the age of 5, I lost my father to the troubles. Unfortunately, at such a young age there are many things I cannot recall about this stage of my life. One thing I do recall is the appreciation from my family for what the funeral director did for us at this difficult time. This was always spoke about throughout my family & therefore stuck in my mind. As I grew older & learnt more about the role of a funeral director, it soon became my ambition in life to become just that. I want to help families through difficult times, just as the funeral director previously done with my own family.
Now with over 20 years’ experience, I have never looked back.
Throughout my career, I have worked for two independent funeral directors & a multi-national funeral directors, holding positions of, Funeral Home Manager & Hub Manager. Using the knowledge & experience gained throughout my career, along with my passion for my profession, I made the decision to open my own funeral home.
I hold a Prestigious Diploma in Funeral Directing, the highest available qualification in the funeral industry. I am also a member of the Kenyon International Disaster Team who have responded to worldwide incidents including, The September 11th New York terrorist attacks, The Russian Aircraft Disaster & The Grenfell Tower Fire in London.
For numerous years throughout my career, I have set trends & introduced new innovative ideas to the funeral industry. These ideas were welcomed by other funeral directors & put into practice in their own funeral homes.
I am now grateful for the opportunity to be able to use these ideas throughout my own funeral home. I look forward to developing further ideas, to help enhance the benefits of families, who choose me to carry out their funeral service.
